Several debut tour videos come to YouTube

YouTube channel, East-West Sounds (Memorial), has posted four different debut tour videos from The Innocence Mission. These 8mm VHS videos were filmed by Kirit Kapaia of Long Island, NY. Kirit likely kept these videos in his private collection over these last 30 years until his passing on April 9, 2022 at age 60. It’s unknown why these videos (and those from other artists) are just now making their way to YouTube, but thankfully this treasure trove has found its way to the public. Three of the four videos were filmed from very far away, so they are quite blurry from being zoomed in. The recording from Woody’s in NYC was previously released to tape traders back in the 90’s, making it more easily identifiable since the details were not made available by the channel within the video details.
